After a long and rewarding career in the creative departments of various advertising agencies, I retired in 2020 to resume my long held passion for working in the studio— often with a cup of coffee next to me and (when it suits them) a cat at my feet. I work primarily with pastel pencils and sticks, while the black and white pieces are created using carbon-infused graphite pencils.

Creating a portrait is one thing; capturing your subject’s character is another. I enjoy working and reworking every little detail of a portrait until the page truly comes to life, bringing the personality of your loved one to your wall space.
